After Mariane Holbrook's humor columns had
appeared in the local newspaper for a couple of years,
readers and friends urged her to present them in book
form so they could read them at will. Covering subjects
as varied as her fishing bloopers on the local fishing
pier to her hilarious experience with hair removal, she
wrote with her usual self-deprecating humor.
Unfortunately, the book is now sold out
and no longer available. However, many of the columns
appear here on her website for you to enjoy. |

"Humor Me" is a sequel to "Prisms Of The
Heart" with more of Mariane's newspaper columns compiled
into book form. In addition to her writings, this book
contains a poetry section, some in a humorous vein and
some more serious and thought-provoking, along with
family pictures that shed light on Mariane's life.
This book, also, is no longer available
but many of the columns and poems are found here on her
website. |
