IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Bills are piling high.
Take a look at this bill from Sears,
It’s not been this much in years,
Cuz everything we see we have to buy.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
We bought a 10 foot tree.
We knew it was way too tall,
The rooms in our house are small,
But we can’t stop this crazy spending spree.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Dad is looking glum.
He hates decorating trees,
It’s sure not his expertise.
He thinks that all this fuss is just plain dumb.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Mom’s been baking cakes.
She’s made fudge and some cookies, too,
The way that most mothers do
And then she groans about her pains and aches.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Gifts are piled so high
My sister wants clothes to wear;
She thinks Dad’s a millionaire;
If she can’t have it all she says she’ll die.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
I’ve forgot the rest.
There’s more to this song, I know;
I learned it so long ago
How will I end it? What do you suggest?
