BE  ENCOURAGED

Be encouraged, God is with you.

Be encouraged, He’s standing near.

He has cataloged each heartache,

And made note of every tear.

 

God has promised He will never

Give you more than you can bear.

He is longing just to hear you

Breathe His holy name in prayer.

 

Even though the skies seem darker,

Try to sing and praise the Lord.

Find a Scripture verse to stand on,

And you’ll see your faith restored.

 

There’s a reason for your suffering.

All your weeping’s not in vain.

His refiner’s fire is working

In a way He’ll soon explain.

 

Praise the Lord, His coming’s nearer.

Turn and face the eastern sky.

We’ll be changed, fit for our Bridegroom

In the twinkling of an eye!
